Description: The Double Musky Inn is located in Girdwood, Alaska. We feature a
menu of steaks & seafood with emphasis on spices & seasonings
containing a New Orleans accent. Our menu contains classic New
Orleans dishes prepared with Alaska Seafood such as crab meat dressing
stuffed halibut served with Creole burre blanc sauce. We also serve
shrimp ettoufee, shrimp & sausage jambalaya, Lobster KaBobs, & salmon
au poirve, plus other dishes & a good selection of steaks, appetizers
& desserts. Jill Cordes, hostess of the "Best Of" series for the Food
Network, described the Double Musky as the top place for steaks in the
USA & specifically named our Pepper Steak as the best.
Our restaurant was described by Esquire Magazine as the "last great
American roadhouse." It has been reviewed favorably by Bon Appetit &
yearly by Fodors Travel Guide, Honolulu Magazine, the Chicago Tribune,
San Francisco Chronicle, New Orleans Times Picyune, New York Times,
the Anchorage Daily News & more. We were featured on CNN World-Wide &
on the Food Network's "Best Of" series, who named the Double Musky Inn
one of their ten favorite restaurants in America. We were also
selected as Alaskans' favorite restaurant by two to one over the
nearest vote getter in the Anchorage Daily News.
